Job Description
A leading company in secure embedded software solutions is seeking an experienced Account Executive specializing in the automotive industry. This company offers comprehensive embedded security solutions, including secure boot, over-the-air updates, and lifecycle management, tailored specifically for the automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
- Sell embedded software security solutions to Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing automotive accounts.
- Build and nurture customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with the sales team - including Field Application Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Business Development personnel - to analyze customer needs and deliver solutions that align with requirements.
- Coordinate across various departments to fulfill commitments to customers and prospects, including supporting strategic marketing initiatives and liaising with R&D.
- Provide regular sales forecasting and reporting, manage the sales pipeline, and represent the customer's voice within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, ideally achieving over-performance.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Confident and influential communication skills.
- Knowledge of the embedded software security market specific to the automotive industry.
- Experience in consultative selling to Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in the automotive space.
- Proficient in negotiating, managing, and closing major accounts, with strong forecasting and CRM management skills.
- Skilled in proposal writing and delivering presentations to customers.
