Job Description
A Global Security company is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate is technically strong, enjoys solving challenges, and is eager to take ownership of critical services.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), including QNX, VxWorks, ThreadX, Integrity, FreeRTOS, MQX, etc.
- Extensive experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Capability to work on US government engagements.
- Secret or Top-Secret Clearance is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, IPSEC, SSH, SMTP, SFTP, SSL, OpenSSL, TLS.
- Experience with public key infrastructures (PKI).
- In-depth understanding of authentication protocols, cryptography, and encryption.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus).
