Job Type: Full-Time, Remote (United States)

A leading Embedded technology company is looking for a talented Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to join their sales team. If you have a strong background in object-oriented design and enjoy providing technical expertise, this could be an excellent opportunity to support clients and help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to identify their needs.
  • Conduct technical pre-sales product demonstrations for existing and potential customers.
  • Provide on-site support and training to clients.
  • Develop and implement tailored solutions for customers.
  • Create and maintain technical support documentation.
  • Coordinate and engage in marketing activities such as trade shows and events.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience in software development using C, C++, and Python.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with embedded tools and development environments.
  • Experience in technical sales support.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand code written by others.
  • Multitasking and ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Embedded RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, ThreadX, FreeRTOS).
  • Familiarity with embedded development tools such as compilers, debuggers, and IDEs.
  • Knowledge of embedded safety and security platforms.
  • Experience with BSPs and device drivers for embedded operating systems.

Education:

  • BS (or MS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
