Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Technical Sales Specialist to join a leading global Embedded company. This outside sales role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and outstanding customer relationship management abilities. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding business opportunities and supporting clients with our state-of-the-art testing products and analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to manage and grow new and existing accounts, ensuring alignment with sales goals and objectives.
  • Understand and address customer needs with tailored solutions, utilizing in-depth product knowledge.
  • Build strong customer relationships by offering exceptional service and adapting to diverse client requirements.
  • Maintain open communication with customers at all organizational levels, supporting all stages of the sales process.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all business interactions.

Core Duties:

  • Deep understanding of product features, specifications, and benefits.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries about software and hardware products.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track account activity, prepare forecasts, and generate quotes.
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise and guidance to both customers and sales teams.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across various industries and regions.
  • Conduct online and in-person product demonstrations independently or with sales partners.
  • Deliver consultative sales support, recommending solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Present complex technical concepts confidently to individuals or groups.
  • Craft well-written proposals and technical documentation for clients.
  • Communicate effectively to convey product value and integration strategies to customers.
  • Engage in technical discussions with clients about requirements, solutions, and products.
  • Generate weekly sales reports, including forecasts, account updates, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Embedded hardware development, testing, and analysis tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven customer service experience and ability to foster strong business relationships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
